First TimeRs, Downsizers, Refreshes and Updates

One of our specialties is helping couples moving in together for the first time navigate the sometimes tricky decisions and negotiations to keep, store or dispose of existing property from separate households. 

We also guide families moving into a new home who also don’t want to start from scratch.  Creating a harmonious environment in these situations brings its own set of challenges.

And we navigate the delicate process of downsizing, distilling the most important pieces of a lifetime into smaller spaces.

• Which existing pieces of furniture, rugs, art, and accessories will work in the new home design?

• How will they all be integrated in the new environment?

• What new pieces need to be purchased to achieve the aesthetic goals and practical functions of the room?

• What purchases and timelines must be set to create a reasonable schedule for completion of the project?

STORYBOARDING YOUR HOME

For each room, design boards will be created showing the integration of paint colors, flooring, window treatments, furniture, fabrics, rugs, carpeting and accent colors to help better and more accurately visualize the overall look.  In addition, scale floor plans showing furniture layout and lighting schemes will be created.

In undertaking projects in New York City, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Arizona and Delaware, 2Fox has worked with clients in television, finance, advertising and marketing to create beautiful homes and environments noted for their unique design that delight and soothe.  Our overall goal is to create a look and plan that appropriately reflects the structure and location but most importantly, pleases the wishes of the client.
